Thats really the name of the road! and the place! It is about 45 mins to an hour’s drive south of Queenstown in New Zealand.
Taken with the Pentax K200D and Sigma 10-20mm f4.0-5.6 with a Kenko MC CPL filter, handheld
3 images taken at +/- 2.0 EV and blended using Photomatix Exposure Blending.
This is another shot from my honeymoon in New Zealand. This was taken while on a Lord of the Rings tour as we drove down the well named “Paradise Road” which lies not far outside of the very small town of Glenorchy. Quite a few movies have had scenes filmed down this road, and I would recommend you check it out if you are in the area.
I took this with the Pentax K200D and Sigma 10-20mm f4.0-5.6 handheld, from the passenger seat of the 4wd van. The dirt road was quite rough, but I wanted to get the motion blur, so I am l lucky that I was able to get one where the distant parts of the scene are fairly sharp.
